Model farm with innovative design, focused on sustainable production of agricultural and livestock products, has strengthened its position in the farm 'Swing Fish'. Here various types of vegetable and fruit are produced, as well as rare breeds of birds and livestock, utilizing the most modern sustainable agricultural practices and advanced technologies in the world. This represents a significant shift in the philosophy of complex design of national farms, which ensures year-round crop production, contributing to the goals of the AOAE within their National Strategy for Environmental Safety by 2051.
The 'Swing Fish' farm, established nearly three decades ago, has been successful due to the efforts of its owner, citizen Abdelrahman Shamsi. He has invested in numerous international practices and implemented advanced agricultural technologies, which has allowed for annual production exceeding 150 tons of various crops, including figs, pomegranates, zucchini, olives, lemons, cabbage, grapes, and mango, as well as tens of tons of fish.
The Shamsi farm, located in the Al-Arad region in the Al-Ain city, is one of the most popular sustainable tourist destinations. It draws attention within the framework of the action 'The Most Beautiful Winter in the World' under the slogan 'Green Tourism'. This initiative was launched as part of the internal tourism strategy of the country, initiated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the AOAE, and the ruler of Dubai.
The focus of the farm lies on achieving the highest quality production with minimal costs by maximizing the use of available resources and applying advanced agricultural technologies. Emphasis is placed on cleanliness, sustainability, and healthy agriculture.
The 'Swing Fish' farm boasts numerous awards and certifications, including the title of Best Integrated Farm 2022 from the Abu-Dhabi Agency for Agricultural and Environmental Safety, as well as first and second places in the categories of aquaculture and open culture awarded by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for agricultural superiority in 2023 and 2024.
